A space with another person, free of judgment or shame

What it is like in my therapy room

Many of us have been made to feel ashamed of parts of ourselves and keep those parts hidden. This may have led you to feel you don’t deserve what you truly want, so you did what others wanted instead. Maybe now you’re scared to forge your own path because you don’t know where it will lead or what you will find.

I offer a space where we can explore your choices and options: what got you here and what you could do about it. No topic, thought, feeling, or emotion is off-limits. We will look at reframing your experiences using accessible methods and ideas. We will build this space around you and who you are; there will be no fixed method or series of steps.

On top of that, I offer you a human being to hear, see, acknowledge, validate, and support you as you go through this. A human being who balances the important, heavy work with lightness, shares in the joys of your successes, has interesting conversations with you, and brings in genuine kindness and warmth.
